Here are the years that I have on hand. I have a cup of them sitting on the book self at my parents house but I haven't had a chance to retrieve it. When I was a kid I spent a lot of time looking for them. I just liked finding them for some reason.

Next step is to go buy a Lincoln Wheat cent coin Album 1909-1958 !
Then you can begin "filling holes" and seeking out all of the different minkmarks and years of these beloved Wheat Cents !

... ...
Let the fun begin !

Pick up an album and let the fun begin indeed. I still fill up albums with pocket change to let my daughter and nephews play with. Wheat cents are a great start.

neversuited1.....

With his "list" there.....all but one coin is "post 1940".......(I bet he WOULD like to have such a kind offer!) ...
Maybe he has more/earlier dates in the cup at Mom's house too!

MrGlass44 I'm sure would appreciate any offer that would display and keep his Wheaties that he has now, and the ones he'll continue to acquire in the future....

Reminder for MrGlass44.....The Wheat cent started in 1909 and ended in 1958.....then you also get to collect the different mints (P,D,S) of each year as well. (Wheats without a mintmark are "P's")

I agree, get yourself a nice Wheat cent album, and as eaglefoot put it, "Let the Fun Begin."

eaglefoot,

You are right about the list! That was the only empty folder I have laying around. I do have the 41-58, but it is completed with VG-VF. In my opinion, that would take the fun out of filling the holes himself. Just thought I would offer a new collector a folder and throw in some common dates for him.
