1957 Wheat Cent -- Doubled Die Reverse / DDR ?

coppercoins Pillar of the Community United States 7629 Posts	Posted 10/08/2009 8:53 pm Pretty good chance it's a DDR, but the die wear and overall coin wear and damage would make it tough - if not impossible - to identify accurately. These often fall into the abyss of 'unidentified' and are never worth much for that reason alone. I have about a hundred doubled dies and repunched mintmarks that cannot be attributed.
