Nope. But I'll snag one from circulation for my type set at some point. Not a very exciting collectable IMO.

ABSOLUTELY NOT====UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!!! Fed up with politicians and after seeing what the rest of the world offers I am amazed the United States Congress refuses to get on board. Just wait until next year and see what the mint sets and proof sets will cost all of us!

I will be doing the same thing I wm doing with the State Quarter that is getting one set for each member of my family. So I will be putting togther 5 set. plus I will save about 5 more of each mint just in case the do get popular and gain value. I think it could be fun. but hope they just don't stop it half way through and maybe if they can get a little intrest then they can get riad of the paper dollar

Nope, nor will I buy any of the wives gold coins either--yawl can have em all--I really don't care the rarity, the mintages, the costs, nor anything else bout these things, I will not participate in this US Mint/Congress con to make money on many leaders that were losers--Can you imagine, Carter? a Clinton coin with that woman getting it err hmm--down on it-- Then a Gold Coin with Hilary on it? --please give me a break-- There are others, many others that do not deserve the honor of being put on a coin--Excuse me while I barf---

I might...........depends on who's on it and what they look like when they come out. My understanding was that they would only put the presidents on them who have been dead at least a few years. So no fear of seeing a Clinton or Bush coin for a long time. We'll just have to wait and see what they do. I am not especially looking forward to it or fond of the idea, but I never say never when it comes to proofs! And by then I may have spent all my money on Aussi coins anyway. Margaret

I will definitely get a circulating dollar of each of the presidents. This is history regardless of the faults of the men. LOL it would be like not collecting the State Quarters because you were not fond of Hawaii. (By the way, Hawaii is beautiful) I hope they put the dates in office on each coin. They won't be a beautiful set of faces but an important historicial lesson. Also at 4 issues a year being released it stretches this series out for a lot of years. I would not be buying the proof sets of the Presidents or the gold first ladies, but a set of the circulating coins I would think is a must.

We buy coins with the faces of Presidents on them now. We even work to earn them, spend them and save them. They will be nice commemortives of past Presidents - no matter what their Polictical Parties.

I think it could be a good idea if the mint pushes it and deside at some point in the near future. stop making paper dollars make us like all the other contries. If not it will fail just like the sac dollar. But I do agree with the fact it is a money issue the mint is trying to find a way to make a big profit just like they did on the State Quarters. I will not be buying them from the mint I will only be getting my rolls from the bank. and then see if I can find someone else here who get the P-mint that will swap a half roll with me. But I will only be collecting them because I like to collect US coins. And it a good place to start a collection when it fist comes out. I also agree the Proof and Mint set will be very expansive I would guess at least 10.00 more on each set. But I don't think the price change will stop any of us from getting are proof sets.

Also I didn't mean to start a palitical discsion just about the coins. I know there are President past or present and future that we will not like but that is our own opions and should should put down on presidents that some may like.

Yeah, some of those political parties are real bad. Not many people vote for the Whigs any more.
