Hello,I received two 2009D cents in change recently I thought cool I can compare them I did and now well, here I am. The first coin 2009D LPL3-A.. If you look closely at the letters of 'LIBERTY' they appear to have a split or gap running vertical somewhat. Also See the 'G' God and the mintmark.
The second coin is Abe seeing double? looks like theres a second eye under his eye. Abes fingers on reverse, notice the mintmark on both coins the D's look different to me. These coins are hard to explain or show in pics but would love to hear any opinions. I'm also attaching a pic of my 2009 Lincoln 'Birthplace' die crack.
Thanks

If the mark is raised, it came from the die. If it is incuse it is damaged. Looks like damage on the last close eye image.
