Both of my sets have now been shipped. Surprisingly, the set I had my Inlaws order shipped first, even though it was ordered several hours after my set.

trd, I had the same thing happen to me and I am still currently waiting for the set I ordered but will be receiving the set my mother order tomorrow, don't understand?  |

Yesterday I got the 2009 Silver Proof Set that I ordered at the same time. The tacking info had said it would be here today. Since the tracking page says my C&C set will be here next Wednesday, I now know to expect it on Tuesday.  |

According to the US Mint, my set shipped today to my folks in the US. It will sit with them until they have enough stuff to make it worthwhile for the shipping costs to the UK.

I don't understand why they ship them fedEx to the USPS office. Why don't they just get USPS to come get the packages and be done with it instead of having FedEx come get it and deliver it to the Post Office in your town, heck they could just deliver it to your door if they are going to be in town anyhow

My order was shipped on Oct. 20 and I still get this when I click the tracking number in the e-mail.
There is no record of this item.

You need to plug that number in the Fedex site because Fedex gets the package first. By the way, by order 33188xxx has shipped today! |

The idea is that the mail carriers visit every house, every delivery day (even if they just drive by it when you have no mail). The commercial carriers might visit the same businesses day-in and day-out, but trips to specific residences, even specific neighbourhoods, are less frequent. It is also considered "green" since they are making the most efficient use of the vehicles involved. Think of it as outsourcing the less profitable jobs, like how the major airlines outsource their connector flights to smaller, regional operations. Sending one plane rather than three or four. |

My E mail said it would be here Monday .. but came today. Nice looking set ..
S mint mark on the four cents P mint mark on the dollar ...
And no spots ... I think the old copper style cents have a much better look.

Well my set arrived today and so did my other set to the daughters house.
WOW they are nice these are Keepers I was going to sell one set but now plan to keep them both these will be another things going to my kids when I am gone.

i am on the phone with the mint right now, Mine shipped on the 20th but it has not moved from electronic notification! She told me to give it a couple more days.Fed ex says they dont have it. I am not going to be happy if they loose this thing
