I don't think I'd ever buy a Trade dollar unless it was certified. Have y'all seen how many are on e-bay from Asia? I think there's an article about that in the latest CoinAge magazine.

Awesome coin CC. My budget is only going to allow me about a VF. But I wouldn't mind a few chop marks, kinda lends to it's history 'ya know?

man that reverse looks like it just got out from the mint (except for the toning of course) and the obverse looks like atleast a 63 to me I would have thought. Glad this wasnt a contest because I would have blew it bad on this thing

Should anyone be interested, I purchased this from Rare Coins of
New Hampshire, They sell accurately graded coins, some say under graded coins . I have NEVER bin dissapointed on any purchase from them.
