I've had this coin for some time and have recently thought about it. "OF AMERICA" looks thick to me What do you think? Thanks in advance.

I see some doubling on the C in America.

I see serif separation in the E as well. Dramatic DDO!
This one is listed in my Cherrypicker's guide as Breen #3399.

Definitely the doubled die obverse variety. The super-thick AMERICA is the marker for worn examples. I would love to get one of these but I'm holding out for a high-grade coin that shows the doubling more clearly. Of course, the higher-grade coins go for a large premium over the normal ones.
