Yeah! I'd hate to have to get a lawyer and sue for the excessive surcharges I paid if I had to return my bullion coins!

I don't think it will happen again because the dollar value is not backed by gold like it was then.
Woe to those who are buying certificates of holding by some gold sales pitch companies.
All you get is a piece of paper from a company that says you have bought gold and they are holding it for you.
I have seen a pyramid scam that went around about 10 years ago and almost everyone lost their money because the company never bought any gold. They just sent out account statements.
When they went out of business there was nobody to go after for the scam.

Notice thousands of pre '33 gold coins available today. Many people simply put their coins in the sock drawer. There was no house to house search anywhere.
