Hello. I have some random coins from several European countries that I kept when I visited Europe in the early 90s. Most were minted fomr 1960 and later. I was hoping to find a good magazine or website that has pictures, types, values, etc. for European coins of various denominations and locations. I am wanting to get more overall info about the coins. Thanks for any helpful ideas and links.

www.(131231) Not Allowed - Auto-Removed is a good "first stop" site for circulating 20th century world coins. It's got reasonably comprehensive coin listings (as far as circulation coins go) and there's a general type catalogue price quoted. There's also some handy "coin identification helps" for beginners to world coins, if you're not sure of the countries.

If you want detailed prices for each year, mintmark etc and any interesting varieties or scarce date-mintmark combinations to look for, you're better off with a Krause catalogue.
