I know Its German (Bavaria) 1907(D) 5-Mark Km#512.? I dont Know if its 512.1=(OBV)-closed curl or 512.2 Open curl or 512.4 large lock of hair above ear,closed curl Page 106 inStadard cataloge of German coins or Page 260- collecting world coins(Krause)

Sorry, can't help you much, there. The Krause world cat' only says "varieties in the hair locks and curls exist" without telling you what they are.

Jim,it looks like the 'Open Curl' variety to me,but I can't say for certain,however.By the way,nice Bavarian 5 Mark coin.

I just started collecting WWII era German coins & bank notes. Do you collect these also? by the way,thats a beautiful coin.

thank you everyone and yes TLS5933 If I Had to pick a world country I collect from as My Favorite Germany would proably be it, WWII is one of my very favorite subjects as well her is another nice german coin

Nice coin TLS5933, I also collect WWII Nazi coins.

If you have any spares let me know and we might be able to trade. I have a number of duplicates in my collection.

I just started collecting them but I have a few, 15 or so. Let me know what you have doubles in. We could probably make a trade. Or I might buy them from you if you decide to sell.
