I feel pretty certain that's what you have.Nice example of people playing with there change.Does the reverse have the waffle prints from a vise or smooth surface from a press?

The Reverse is indented in the exact corresponding place to the Obverse like being placed in a vise and you can see from the pics the obverse is also showing signs of indentation.

Wow looks like some of the crazy "error" coins I've seen on ebay.
