Since we all need a new contest... Here we go!

This contest is to determine (i.e., one of you has to guess) what I volunteered for this last Monday.
Please try to be as specific as possible.

Rules:

1. One guess per day for each member (Wheezydog! This means YOU!) Please don't make me be the referee.

2. You must have a minimum of 50 posts to win. (If your last guess is your 50th post, it counts!)

3. You can ask questions in addition to your one guess per day. (I may answer them...)

4. I will give hints periodically.

5. Funny and/or thought provoking guesses will delight us all and are encouraged.

The prize is a full set of 11 War Jefferson nickels. 2x1942's, (P & S), 3x1943's (P, S & D), 3x1944's (P, S & D) and 3x1945's, (P, S & D).

edited to correct my ignorance of the non-presence of a War time 1942 D nickel. Thanks, ratman4762 for setting me straight!

Actually a VERY good guess, but it's not the right answer.

Is this something you volunteered to do and did (this past Monday)? or volunteered your services for a future date?.....As for the 1942D, look through your non War Nickel stash, as there were no 1942D War Nickels!

Yes. I have volunteered for an ongoing commitment for the future.

No war 1942 D? Maybe that's why I don't have one!!

It could involve a long term commitment with many "stints".

Good question. No, my volunteering does not involve me associated with any type of food.
