G'day, I bought a copy a few months ago.
It turned up quickly enough.
The paperback binding has started to come apart, and I don't think I've been rough with it.
The photography is truly excellent.
The text is brief, but helpful.
The proof reading might have been better: there are some inconsistencies in the text that ought to have been picked up.
The faults are relatively minor in comparison to the scale of the work, and they will, I hope, be ironed out in the second edition.
For less than $30, it was well worth the money.

I wish they published something similar for coins. I collect coins of former Brit. Empire with the images of royalty; it would be a great reference book. (And I better stay away from the one you featured here, or I may get into banknote collecting.)

svslav you should give it a shot unlike u.s. notes that are just boring to me except the old ones world banknotes are just beautiful one of the things that attracted me to coins was they are like small pieces of art. but on banknotes there is a lot more room for more beautiful images and colors.

I moved to the US from a different country, so I'm familiar with colorful and beautifully designed notes. Still, while admiring some of them, I better stick to the coins, my wallet is stretched thin enough.
