Anything with the mint mark? It looks odd to me. There seems to be a separation line on the top outside curve. There is a thick straight line on the right side,what is that? Thank you,

I seen the same thing a while back, There are two mintmark's for 1974. I think you have a small date, But I could be wrong, CC could tell ya for sure!

looks like some worn die, or maybe how it was ejected? dont see any notching

It just looks like it had a tough life. Machine doubled at birth and a few hard knocks during it's life. There is one I have that looks like a possible RPM.

Top one is Machine Doubling, and yes..there are two different styles of mintmarks for 1974. There's the smaller mintmark style introduced in 1971, and the larger one that starts in 1974 and ends in 1979 - which, incidentally, is the 'type 1' filled S for 1979.
