True, I have discontinued attributions - I'm just not doing it any more for the time being, and if I do go back into doing it, I will not be attributing these types of doubled dies. They are - simply put - more of a hassle than they are worth.
Doubled column doubled dies are indeed true hub doubled dies, but they are so plentiful I highly doubt they will ever receive any notable attention, interest, or value. Attributing them can often take many hours per coin, and the funds received for the work performed ends up being minimum wage on a 1960s scale...like a dollar an hour. I just cannot afford to keep doing that sort of business. That is in part what put the screws to my finances - paying too much attention to work that didn't pay anything. If I pay attention to the work that actually does pay, packages pile up and end up sitting on my desk for six months, and I don't want to do that either. So to be realistic, it was best that I just shut down doing attributions altogether.
