Hello everyone!
I've been lurking and reading posts here for a while. I just love Lincolns and Indians! I've had this 14-D for years. My father gave it to me for Christmas one year when I was about 12 years old.

I'm pretty sure it is genuine, what do you think? What do you think about grade? I think it is probably VG-8.

I think someone once painted it red or something. It looks like it has something like that on it. I don't know why someone did that.

Thanks for your thoughts!

I would say that it is a VG10 at the minimum. It might be F12. I'm jealous!

Thanks everyone for your input!

Maybe I was a little too conservative. I hope to upgrade it in the near future. Just waiting for the right one to come along that I can't live another second without! The thrill of the hunt is part of the fun. Thanks again

Agreed, it looks closer to Fine than Good. However, that that looks like corrosion on the obverse....still a nice example.

F12 Details corroded. Still, great eye-appeal and I would say genuine ;-)
