I am trading 2 vf-xf Morgans 1882-o and 1890-o
My choices are: 1 BU 1986 American Eagle Unc or 2 Silver prospector rounds 1oz.
What is the way to go? Thanks

If the prospector rounds are 1 oz each, I'd choose them. If they're 1/2 oz, personally, I'd keep the Morgans. The Morgans contain just over 1 1/2 oz of silver. The ASE and rounds are strictly bullion pieces. If you're looking for bullion value, keep the Morgans. If you want aesthetics, go with the ASE.

I agree with SeatedNut, I would keep the Morgans. But, if you are set on the trade I would choose the ASE.

As long as you are happy with the trade, that's all that matters :)

As noted due to if you go with one suggestion and don't like the end results, you'll be mad at us.

Hi Murty, I agree with the move. The Morgans have a value of $24-30 and the SAE would have been $22 at best. - but 2 silver ounces gets you much more value in trade.

The silver rounds were worth more, but you folks were undervaluing the ASE. The 1986 ASE does tend to go for more than the run of the mill ASE.
