1994 Kennedy Error?

look at the head and there's some metal of the coin being erased or something on the right side and left side of the head

Hi hangokid

The detail is a little blury, but from what I see its a possible planchet flaw.

If you can get a good clear pic and crop it to just the area around the top of the head,, I would like to see it .

Still hard to say with those pics, but I would venture to say that it is a strike through or lamination error. Cool coin, nice find!

what is a strike-through? or lamination error?

It's a struck-through error, probably through a viscous liquid, like oil.

Struck-through refers to something on the planchet or die at the time the coin is struck. An impression of the struck-through obstacle is left on the coin.

Lamination refers to an alloy mixture problem that causes parts of the coin to flake off in layers. Sometimes this happens before the strike and sometimes after. The result is what looks like part of the coin has been peeled away.
