Hi all, just wondering what is the cheapest SLQ and Walking date in MS condition? Currently looking for one of each in MS for a type set. Thanks all. :)

For a Type 1 SLQ the type coin of choice is the 1917-P. This will run about $250 in MS-60. For a Type 2 example, you will find that most of the 1925 through 1930 coins are priced at maybe $150 in MS-60 to MS-62 grade. The higher-priced exceptions are the 1926-S, 1927-D, and especially the 1927-S. If you want a Full Head example with Liberty's head fully detailed you will have to pay more for any date.

Most of the later-date Walking Liberty halves are easily found in all grades up to MS-65. The Philadelphia dates from the 1940's are typical type set choices, with nice MS-63 examples selling for well under $50.

Thanks Jaobler for the reply. Wow SLQ's are costly, at least for me :(
