Wrapper damage is caused by the machine the wraps the coins in those paper wrappers.

When you check out the OBW rolls, the two on each end are usually messed up with a line/scratch/damage on the inside edge of the bank wrapped coins. Even re-rolled coins suffer from this. When I see a circulated roll of wheats/Indians, I never get excited with a older date on the outside edge of the roll. They are probably placed in that way and they are probably damaged. Just another way to get rid of common coins with two older coins on the outsides of the roll. Sucker bait from bottom feeders.
