my father is interested in buying 100 silver wahington quarters what should he expect to pay for them or what would be a good offer to make on them. they grade from good to a handful that are unc in the ms-60 to 61 range with no special dates. I checked out the coin flation website is that a good guide as to what he should pay

If he is going to buy them from a dealer than I would think that is close to what he should expect to pay. On the other hand, if he is going to buy them from somebody else, he may be able to pay what a dealer pays which is around 11-12X face.

If commons, then a good price would be anything under melt value.

I would think 14 times face value ($350) .. would be the highest you would want to pay.

As Ratman says .. a good deal would be around 11 or 12 times face. ($275 - $300)
