i dont kown that this is the 1DO-001. I found (2) 1974's in a roll of cents. I lookied at this one back to back with the other one. on the first one the date was +/- 1/3 the thickness of the date one the one pictured. this one certainly looks like the extrat thick date, however there are no matching die markers - from coppercoins site. the moto does appear to be extra thick, especially the "S" in trust. it seems that the 1970's coins are among the most difficult for me to identify. I anyones opinion could this be the 1DO-001. thanks.

As you probably know 1974 P and D are known for the thick date,so most are DD's which means no premium. I can't tell from your pix so I will wait and see what others say.

Hmm....I'm uncertain of the one that's listed on my site. I didn't put it there. If it had been up to me, it probably wouldn't be there. John is correct in that the large date 1974 cents all look like this to some degree or another.

I have noticed from keeping only MS grade 74's that poor to choice grade are always just fat, and only one or two thatonly the date and Liberty are fat. Have looked and looked for any trace of notching, tapered ends or corners, lines , and all just seem to be well rounded.
