For those that remember that I found a 99 WAM a while back. I sent it off to be graded and have been waiting. It arrived back home today. Graded and certified as MS-62. Now, whats it worth? My 2009 RedBook says a MS-65 is 500. How do I determine a value?

The Lincoln Cent Resource Variety Price Guide has it at $225 for MS 62 BN. I've got one I sent off last week but it's probably only XF/AU. What TPG did you use ?

Congrats on your MS grade! Is it BN, RB or RD?

Congrats on your find and grade! I found my first WAM (a 99 also) and I doubt it would be more than AU, but I don't really know. My question is should I send mine off to be graded and encapsuled?

WAM - Wide America, meaning there is a space between the A and the M in America on the reverse of the cent 1998, 1999, and 2000 cents have this error CAM - Close America, meaning there is no a space between the A and the M in America on the reverse of the cent 1992D cents have this error There may be more years/mint marks that these apply to, but these are the ones I check.

Strange! I can't find one single example from an archived Heritage auction. I've searched for every combination I could think of. I even tried just searching "1999" under Lincoln cents and found absolutely no Wide AM. But get this, just a regular '99 Lincoln in a PCGS MS68 holder sold for $322! Who would pay for that?
