I have a sentimental attachment to the Peace dollar because it was the dollar minted the year my Grandfather was born (1922). I have two 1922 Peace dollars -- one of them he gave me -- and I have no plans to ever part with them.

As for the original topic, I do not collect the ASE (I only have the one for my 7070). But isn't the real problem that the ASE albums have a 2009 labeled hole already?

What? I am just stating my opinion. I know some people like them (and everyone has the choice to collect what they like no matter what anyone else says about them). I guess there are just as many people that wonder why I liked the Morgan series so much also but the design on the Peace dollar doesn't appeal to me one little bit. I will say I like the feeling of it ( I guess you could say heft of it) but the design makes me queasy on my stomach to look at for some reason

I would be game for them ending it and putting a seated or Trade dollar on there.
