My man, I just graded it with my Photograde grading book. It looks like a F-13, but not quite a very fine. Above average fine, I would say. It is pushing very fine, but can't tell for sure because I can't see Liberty on the headband very well. Is Liberty sharp? Here is what it says for Fine in Photograde: "Obverse: There will be a full "LIBERTY" on the head, but it will not be sharp. The top of the wreath will be well outlined but the bottom will be worn. Reverse: About half of the feathers will show. "E PLURIBUS UNUM" will be complete although a few letters may be weak." "Very Fine: Obverse: "LIBERTY" will be sharp. The wreath will be well outlined at both top and bottom. Reverse: "E PLURIBUS UNUM" will be sharp. More feather detail will show on the neck and tail." Good luck, and I hope this helped. - coincrazed

The surfaces and wing detail suggest an EF-45 coin, even if the obverse picture is lousy and its hard to see 'liberty' in it.

I agree with ShadowCreator. I think it is at least EF-40, but more likely EF-45.

It seems very solid for EF-40. The wing feathers are separate all the way to the ends, the lower row of leaves in the wreath is complete, and the edges of the LIBERTY band are defined. Hopefully the surfaces are original and uncleaned; you just can't tell from these images. Barber halves are so often seen in AG to G condition. I love seeing higher-grade, lightly-worn examples like this one.

I agree, solid XF due to the wing separation.

Provided the surfaces are not tampered with - the coin is a VERY solid XF 45.
You're right - the images are lousy. NOT the coin !

when I read the first few responses I thought "wow you guys are harsh". I too think this is a EF coin or maybe even make AU. I was saying if this is a F-13 coin then mine (which was sold to me as AU) needs to be replaced

EF40 from what I can see. It could be a touch higher or lower in hand.
It is a nice Barber Half.
