I ran up to a pawn shop a few miles from where I live after they advertised about old coins on the TV. They had a few gold coins and morgans, franklins, some foriegn coins too. I saw a 1866 Shield nickel that was worn , you could only make out part of "In God We Trust". but the rest of the coin I could read OK. They wanted $12.00 for it. Any opinions on this? Thanks,

Wornslick

sounds like a decent price, in G4 it cost $35 so, I would buy it as long as it is in G but I would look it over again if it is more like AG JMO
