The bank or several banks for rolls. It really depends on what you want to collect. I collect everything...so I search everything. (although I search quarters only to find the current issues). I really like searching half dollars because you can still find alot of silver if you are persistant. My next favorite are nickels. I keep all nickels that are pre-1960. I've been finding alot of the silver War Nickels and quite a few Buffalos. (yesterday I found 3, one was 1 1913 type2). I also found a 1911 Liberty V nickel this past week (the 2nd V in the last couple months). I search alot of nickels. I also grab 10 or 20 rolls of cents now and then. (they are hard on my eyes) I save all the copper cents and obviously the wheats. I also look for WAM's and double dies. Dimes I only search for current issues (silver finds are a bonus). In my opinion silver finds are getting very scarce in dimes and I direct my time and resources elsewhere. (although other opinions will vary) Silver finds in quarters are rare. Since the State Quarter program has brought in alot of new collectors (even if only collecting the State Quarters) That's alot more people rummaging through quarters and likely spotting older silver quarters)
Whatever you decide to collect and search...have fun with it!

. I have the most luck searching nickels. Today, I searched 4 rolls, and found a 1949, and a 1957.

I think boxes of rolls are the way to go if possible. Just talk to the teller. Halves especially. Nickels you should be able to score at least one box without a special order. I agree with ratman, halves are fun for silver but I don't seem to find very many keepers. Nickels you get more keepers I also keep pre 60's plus if you fill an album there are a lot more holes to fill, plus you can constantly upgrade. V nickels, buffalo's, War Nickels and cant forget the older gems. I think it's fun plus you get the coins for face value. Good luck.
