I have information in regards to stolen gold coins. Suspects attempted to pass the coins in Ohio but had Dekalb County, GA plates on their car. If you know anyone that has had a theft of gold coins, let me know ASAP. I have provided little detail in this post, this is to ensure validity of anyone attempting to claim these are their coins. Sounds like something to report to the police and perhaps the FBI?

I am a new member of the Forum, so please forgive me if I do not know how to find and answer posts quickly. I can learn with patience.
I was emailed a link to your recent post regarding stolen gold coins, probably by another member who had seen the widely circulated information about my loss.
I am eager to learn what you know, and will provide whatever information you require to establish what I am indeed the victim of a numismatic burglary, possibly linked to the coins you have seen.
Please respond at your earliest opportunity.

I'm a new member, and don't yet have enough posts to email ASUTodd directly. He appears to not yet have checked for replies, and I'm afraid his potential lead to my stolen coins may soon go cold on me . . . can someone with more thatn 50 posts contact him and ask that he email me?

Mike, Your profile doesn't have contact info. You will need to provide this for him to email you.

I have emailed both members so they have each others contact information or should have anyway. ASUTodd hasn't been back on the forum since posting this so I don't know if he is getting the emails or not but I have sent emails to both members

To all who suggest that this be reported to the police... I am the police, hence the reason I have the info. Secondly, I am responded to all inquiries as soon as I can. It appears that the owners of the coins have been located but there may be other coins not spoken for. If you have sent me information or want to know if the coins are yours, I will reply. Thanks Todd

On the job Fast, Thats what I would want if heaven forbid I fell victim to a seedy thief looking for some quick cash for some valuable coins. Some things are just not what they appear to be!!!
Good luck to all concerned

I received an email from ASUTodd today, thanks to those of you who helped me get in touch with him. I don't yet know if the coins he wrote about are mine or someone else's. I'm sure he'll let me know soon enough. My guess is that mine did not make it so far south (I'm in New Hampshire), but I can hope. In the meantime, I'll continue my search in other areas as well . . . can't leave any stone unturned.
Thanks again,
- Mike
