I am looking to send a few coins out to be officially graded but am not sure of where to send them, what company is cheapest, what's preferred and so forth. Could someone give me some insight or advice please? Also, how much does it cost to send a coin for grading? Thanks, Taylor

ANACS is the least expensive, no membership required.

Personally, I use NGC since it's cheap for me and my dealer does the submission. He charges me $25 per coin, flat rate. The only problem, it takes 3 months or so to get a coin back.

ANACS or NGC would be good choices. NGC requires you to be a paid member of their club to submit to them directly where ANACS does not. I use ANACS because I hate the fact that you have to pay to be in a club to use NGC or PCGS and I'm voting with my dollar so to speak.

If you are an ANA member, NGC won't charge a "member" fee. It's about the same of not much more than a pgcs or ngc membership, and well worth the money, imho, even without the submission benefits.
