Found this while looking at my proof sets, is the strike pressure just to high or what?

If you are referring to what I think I see, it is a trails condition. I suggest you contact BJ Neff, at coppercoins.com, or trails.com He can tell you for sure, and also identify which variety it is, unless it is too minor to list.

I'm wondering about possibly and improperly polished master die that has some artifacts from the hubbing that have not been polished away. (Something similar to the Longacre doubling seen on 19th century coins)
