I'm posting this because there just aren't that many 1940-D Rpms and this one definately looks interesting to me. I made an attempt to do an overlay which is pretty bad but that will get better with more expereince. anyway, does anyone else think this is interesting and worth sending in?
Thanks
Rock

It is interesting and I like your attempt with the overlay, however I think what I see here is more damage then a rpm. That's just my uneducated opinion.

Even if the overlay is fairly accurate it would be lacking
in the details of another mintmark. I believe what you are pointing
out are just die chips etc.

I'm not sure about PMD but die chips makes more sense to me. I'll set it aside and decide later on if I think its worth sending in to one of the attributors.
Thanks rockdude and Indian1 for your thoughts and comments. Its greatly appreciated.
