Die Crack that is! 2006P Jefferson with A nice Crack starting at the rim near the "M" in Unum and running through the Middle of Monticello and running along the bottom left of Monticello to the rim. I found this crack while looking at the obverse (could feel it with my finger). At first I thought it was a deep scratch because it felt sharp. Edited by ratman4762 12/17/2009 7:52 pm

That is definitely a crack worth keeping I would imagine that die was not too many strikes from failure.

That's a cool one! It almost looks like the die has shifted on each side of the crack, and the upper left of the Monticello is raised on the coin?

that looks groovy. Are these large die cracks a value booster too?

The longer the crack the more interest in them. A keeper!
