We have the collection of Shell dealership Prime Minister of Canada medallions and would like to know what it is worth. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!

I don't think they demand a very big premium with no precious metal in them?

i have bought the whole set with the wood display plaque for $3.00 at a yard sale. My dealer sells the individual medallions in his junk box for 50 cents.

For some drunken unknown reason, I got involved in a bidding frenzy on ebay for this same set approx 4 weeks ago.
Not the wooden display plaque mind you, but the cardboard one. It had all the medallions as well, and I walked away from the auction prior to the closing bid of 10 bucks...plus the 5 bucks for shipping.
I dunno, I just thought it would have been a neat keepsake and an opportunity to reflect back when I was a wee lad, as I remember when these things were released.

The biggest problem with these is that the gold-coloured finish wears off relatively easy, and when it does, they're downright ugly.

Ones with the gold colour intact probably would attract a premium, but we're not really talking about a lot of money to begin with.
