Here's a recent buy that I think was well worth the $15 I paid. The coin is unnaturally bright in the center on both sides from some kind of old cleaning. However, that effect is practically invisible in my photos. I'm leaving the coin out on a windowsill for now so it will hopefully darken a bit over those bright areas. Any opinions on condition and/or general comments?

I'd grade it a F-15. Well worth the $15 you paid for it.

Very nice. I would argue that it is a solid VF detailed piece.

This cent has been sitting on my windowsill for over three months now. It still has a bit of reddish shine in the centers from that old cleaning but I believe it has improved. Unfortunately I can't positively reproduce the original camera settings to ensure the new images properly match the old. I think the cent is darker and more natural-appearing now, but I'm not sure the images can be trusted to show the difference. In any case, I'll leave it out awhile longer.
