In the spirit of the holidays, I'm going to hold another contest! Below are two photos of the same coin, using two different cameras.
Can you match the camera to the photo? Here are your choices:
1. Canon SD790IS (10 megapixel point/shoot)--shot hand-held or...
2. Nikon D70S with Nikkor 60mm macro lens (6 megapixel dSLR)--shot with tripod. Both photos had post-processing and a moderate amount of sharpening.

In no particular order here are the photos. Match the camera to the photo like this: 1.A, 1B, 2A, 2B The prize will be an older coin from Finland.
All correct guesses will enter a pool for a drawing on New Year's day. Good luck!

1a 2b. Just because you cant turn off the flash on most point and shoot cameras. I might even be wrong about the flash. So what I am saying is my guess is 1A 2B.

Here's one more pic--a direct comparison of a. and b.
No flash was used--a single halogen light on both.
You're welcome to guess again until drawing on New Years. Good luck!

Gotta leave less information available for those who know where to look.

I won't post a guess, because it wouldn't be a guess.
