I'm hoping that this one looks better in hand than the pictures. I'm betting that it does. Anybody want to stifle a guess as to grade from bad pictures? This coin looks very close to uncirculated, and in fact may be. I turned loose of a low grade 1807 Draped Bust half to purchase it. I lost a little on the low grade half, but I believe I will make up the lost ground with this one.

First pics are the seller's....second are after I attempted to color correct the images, based upon my own experience, which were obviously taken under incandescent light.

Actually I think the pictures are pretty decent here. It shows enough detail and highlights the area of remaining luster. It looks pretty crusty and original, I would guess AU-53.

My guess from the pics would be AU-55.
