Need Help Identifying Coin | Papal States Baiocco

shawnkates New Member Canada 1 Posts	Posted 12/30/2009 12:15 pm Been trying to identify this coin for quite a while. It was found in an old box of Canadian and British Tokens in Canada. It measures approximately 33 mm in diameter. The coin is pretty worn, but hoping that maybe someone has come across something similar? It's definitely a Papal States baiocco, but it's a much better match for the 1816 type (KM 1279) - it doesn't have a broad denticled rim. Check this link to see what it should look like in better condition.
