Hi All,

I am a newbie on this forum.
Can someone advise where or how to find info about commemorative coin?
I am looking for details about a Cu coin:
On the front side, it has
"17th President USA" "1865-1869" "ANDREW JOHNSON"
On the back side, it has
"SIR VETO", "was taught to read and write by his wife", "governor of Tennessee", "United States Senator", "Vice President became President upon death of Lincoln", "The Tailor President"

Many thanks,

does the coin have mint marks? a web search can lead you to the manufacturer.

Copper coin? It might be a medal or token. I don't think US has ever minted commemorative coins in copper unless I am very wrong.

If it doesn't have a denomination on it, then it probably is a medal.
I believe it is one of those presidential medals

That is indeed a medal and not a commerative coin, not sure what it would be worth ot anything since I dont collect medals (but others do)
