And just because NO ONE ELSE seems to be posting much, in Lieu of an actual catalogue (or katalog, which ever you prefer - my interests tend to steer me towards 'katalog', while my language steers me back towards 'catalogue'), this maybe of use to you: http://www.rbnz.govt.nz/statistics/currency/You'll find the F4 Historical Series spreadsheet is probably what you need; it contains the predecimal and decimal circulation mintages. The F4 Coin Mintages page displays mintages for the 'New Decimal' Series only (I assume you know there are two Decimal Series, old and new)... Enjoy

Quote: Not sure about rosso, but I didn't know that. Mind explaining? Well, I'll give it a go... I will preface this by saying that NZ coinage is NOT MY THING; what I am describing here is simply what I a have learnt in my travels, readings and conversations ;)... Ok, the NZ Early Decimal coins bore a resemblance in appearance and weight (ie, same alloys, weights and similiar QEII portraits) to the coins of the rest of the region; ie, Australia and many of the South Pacific island nations. What was happening was that many of these 'foreign' coin types were circulating in each country(and despite exchange rates to the contrary) were 'accepted' at the local value (ie, a NZ 20c piece is accepted as an Australian 20c piece, despite being really worth 17c Australian or something)... Apparently NZ was getting upset at this; there was a not to trivial percentage of foreign coin in circulation. So, in 2006, New Zealand 'Revamped' their coinage. Like Australia, they had already gotten rid of the 1c and 2c coins, but the remainder of the silver coins (5c, 10c, 20c and 50c) were resized and minted in different metals... As I understand the original NZ decimal coins are still legal tender, but once they get to the bank, they are withdrawn, so now New Zeland's coins are different to the rest of the South Pacific... And having just gone looking for links, I see I am wrong about that!! The original Silver coins are no longer legal tender at all, and the 5c piece was dropped completely! That means I do have a complete 2006 'currency reform' set that I just collected from Australian Circulation :) more info: http://www.newcoins.govt.nz/http://www.rbnz.govt.nz/currency/mo...0101459.htmlhttp://www.rbnz.govt.nz/currency/mo...0094086.htmlhttp://www.rbnz.govt.nz/currency/money/index.htmlEnjoy!

I do indeed collect NZ coins. I have most of the decimal 1¢, 2¢, 5¢, 10¢, 20¢ up to , not quite all the 50¢, and not very many $1 & $2. I have a lot of spare 5¢, 10¢, 20¢,, all taken from circulation, but NZ 2004 coins are hard to find! I also have some of the pre-decimals, but have nowhere near a full collection, very few spares. I would be prepared to do a trade but I'm not really into Italian coins, however I may be interested in some Euro.

Hi guys, thanks so much for all information you are providing. Anyway, yes I'm interested in swapping italian or euro coins w/ NZ coins. I can provide euro coins (legal tender) from all euro countries in CIRC or UNC condition. please send to me an e.mail (rosso_rubino@hotmail.com) for proposal and visite my site to see my double lists.
