Got some more great booty this weekend, 2 morgans, 2 Peace dollars, 4 indian heads, and 4 buffalo heads. All from my father! He had sold his terrific collection back about 7 months ago, but held on to about 20 coins. He gave me these and will give the rest to his grandchildren... Here are some pics of the morgans ... These are my first!! Horray for old coins...

that is great, it is alway nice when you get new coin from family members. If you have not put them into a album yet you should or at least some kind of coin holder. It to bad you were not collecting coin 7 months ago. or if you were not able to buy or get some more from him. I Got a lot of nice coin from my mom out of my Father collection after he passed away.so yes it is ice to get coins from your father
Rest in Peace

My father wasn't a coin collector. However, he was always ready to reach into his pocket for coins whenever we thought we needed a pop or candy bar. Since we are talkingh about the 1950's, I wish I had some of those coins now for my collection!

Nice coins. Morgans are one of my favorites to collect.

It's like they say, Father's can't be every place, so that is why they have Grandfathers!
