I'm no expert on grading Peace dollars but I will take a stab and say F12 as there is moderate wear on the hair and feathers. What I see that I'm not sure about is fine lines on the obverse running fron the word one all the way up through the face to the top and what looks like some very fine (possible cleaning) lines near the back of the head and on the reverse.

I'd say F15.

normally I would not have purchased a coin like this but I did get a good price and considering its a 21, I can fill a hole and then improve as I go

Filling holes with a Fine to EF coin is what I'm doing also and then going back as better coins are found makes the "hunt" even more interesting!

It's a 1921....no offense, but grade is kind of not really an importance...I'D SAY KEEPER!!!! (Sorry, I tend NOT to grade 21 Peace dollars...that's one I leave to the experts at PCGS. LOL!)

I agree. Peace dollars in general are hard for me to grade... then the 21 Peace makes it much harder. Determining wear from the flat-struck. I like this coin but do not like grading them. My guess would be VF.
