The coin is actually silver the photo makes it look gold.

This coin is a Chinese fantasy piece, there never was a real coin with a design like this. Not to mention that it doesn't have any denomination or issuing entity name.

with everything you said. And, normally US coins have a date, denomination, In God We Trust, Liberty, E Pluribus Unum, United States of America.
