I actually bought this one off ebay ... followed the bidding and then just decided to buy it in the last second to fill a critical hole in my DANSCO

My intent was to wait and eventually buy a higher quality coin, but just decide I had to have it. Coin appears to have been cleaned at one time ... but the hole is filled for now. I still need a 1976-S 40% BU, 1976-S 40% PR, and a 1979-S VAR II to complete my 1932-1998 DANSCO.

Still having issues figuring out best way to post pictures ... these are low quality ... I'll get it right eventually!

I do the same thing .. I will buy a coin .. if it is at a good price, just to fill a hole.
I think anytime you buy a key date coin at a good price is a good thing.

I totally agree.

Hey Scott,
I do have the 1932S ... I was holding out on buying the 32D because I wanted to get EF or better, but hard to find in the right price range ... so I went ahead and scoop this one up ... and I agree with the value ... not many 32Ds/32S's minted ...

I think you could do a lot worse than buying up 32-D's!

Nice looking coin and it's tough and expensive to get a really high grade 32-D.

I have the same strategy. Buying coins just to fill holes and then later go back and try to upgrade the set.
