I was watching AAN tv the other day and they were selling a roll for $279. They only showed the edge of the roll and they looked red none of them were brown. They did not say a grade. Is this a good price for them? Being 1960 LMC SD's are hard to find in circulation. Just wondering. Thanks,
John1

That's at least $50 too high. Retail value now is around $200-$220, and dealer bid is around $180.

Although these are hard to find in circulation, they are not so hard to find by the BU roll or even as BU singles. Singles are generally available for $3-$10 in BU grades, depending on the grade and the seller.

I have never seen a website with roll values but they can be found in the Greysheet.

And Numismatic News "Market Report" - and Coin Prices magazine. Of course values vary by guide, and the CDN (grey sheet) is the most trusted source.

Dang, are they really worth that much? I have about 8-10 rolls, most in BU shape. I inherited them from my dad who culled as many as he could in the early 60's.

P or D mint? The D mint coins are not even close in value to the P mint.
