Ive got here a puzzler for me any way?
The coin is a Hong Kong one cent 1923.
Same size & colouring as an old British Penny.

but
On the front:
GEORGE V KING AND EMPEROR OF INDIA
and profile of GEORGE V

however on the rear:
HONG-KONG ONE CENT 1923

Any ideas on this one , valuation if any?
Is this an error or this is how they were made?

Thanks again.

No, that looks like a perfectly normal Hong Kong cent to me. Example of the type on WCG. This one's in EF condition, except for the green spots; it's probably worth a couple of dollars.

"Emperor of India" is part of the king's titles, not an indication of the country of origin; it appears on most pre-1947 coinage of the British Empire, though it's often in Latin: "IND: IMP".

smithersjones- Nice! I really love these large pennies of Hong Kong, but they are so hard to fine here in the States.

It's obvious from this removed post that you have read the rules. You know that they are VERY clear. Breaking them, then saying delete if it's against the rules is completely unacceptable.
