Anyways, it was NGC certified, but I removed it to place in my album. What would you grade it at? What did NGC give it? Report this Post to the Staff

The "grainy" look is due to in improperly mixed alloy, similar but not as extreme as the "woodies". Nope, not gold. Yeah, I have noticed that the new NGC slabbed coins are graded quite a bit more strictly in general than the older ones. Of course, you can't always judge them that way, since I am certain that many older NGC coins have been reholdered in a new slab at the same grade.
