Here is an example of what I was speaking of Vic. The K1 prefix designates this note as one of the first 100,000 notes printed. After note K1 100000, the next note would be K2 00001.

(No big deal really, unless you are heavily into these types of things).

Thanks for the pic. That's one I don't have. I'm not as fussy in collecting first issues but I'm trying to get all the various signatures. The older notes are obviously harder to find.

I have a nicely illustrated book of Thai banknotes but I need my wife to translate it into English. If you try a google search for SIO SIAH KEE you'll get details of the publisher but the ISBN (974-88428-9-4) applies to both the banknotes and coins book and a search doesn't produce any details.

I might throw a new one up here every once in awhile for you Vic. I do have all of the notes with all of the signatures up through the last king.
I have one of the red serial number 20 baht notes of the current king (prefix F12) that is allegedly 'unique' as the only known example with it's signature combo. I will scan the note and post it later. It is very scruffy, but supposedly the most valuable note I have. (Now that I have said that, I imagine that they will be crawling out of the woodwork from every direction). We will see.

Speaking of signatures, here is a note without any:

Here are a few printing errors that you won't see everyday Vic (even where you are in Thailand). Misplaced signatures (on the reverse of 1 baht), Face image (on the reverse of 20 baht), Missing King (on the face of 10 baht). Pretty neat 'eh ?

Very interesting 100 baht note. No serial number or signature. Here's a scan of what my book has to say about the series and you'll see why I need my wife to translate. The bottom line says that 40,968 issues went missing! I assume they mean individual notes and not sheets. I wonder if yours might possibly be one of those?

I have notes both with and without.

Here is a more realistic look at current values:
