Rolled up some change tonight, lost my job this week so need all the cash I get scrounge, found a few 2009 p dimes most look to be ms. Remembered seeing on here how alot of folks still hadn't come across any and thought if anyone needed 1 for their dansco or whitman I could send you out one, free of charge. I only have four, so the first four to post here will get em. Oddly enough I live in Texas and didn't come across 1 d mint dime. Thanks
Edit after a little bit more searching I ended up finding 12 total would like to keep a couple for myself so if anyone else needs one post away! Edited by jokingjoker 01/16/2010 10:52 pm

I have not found one yet. It's actually rediculous. That is a nice offer, but I could never take something from someone out of work. Gl with the job hunting.

No worries oober, that is very nice of you though if you don't have one I wouldn't mind sending it to you. Everything happens for a reason and I feel that everything will work out in the long run.

I still haven't gotten any. A few nickels have shown up in rolls but no dimes.

I think the 2009D dime and Nickel are locked up deep in the Fed's vault. Good luck with your job-hunting!

I haven't even seen one out here in the old west yet. Lots of lincoln cents and quarters, but the rest are pretty much non existent , at least up to this point. Sorry to hear about the job, maybe its time to work for yourself, no one can take that one from you!

I appreciate that! Unfortunately last year was a very trying year for me. At the beginning of the year I had a wound on my arm that contracted staph infection, I let it go for a while without going to the doctor. I went to change the bandage on it and it was bad, I could see straight down to the bone, by then it was just more bad news, after blood tests it was revealed that I had Stenotrophomonas maltophilia. After 4 weeks in the hospital and 4 surgery's they where able to save my arm but is wasn't pretty. Unfortunately I suffered permanent nerve damage in my hand which limits me from doing allot of work. I will find something eventually. Thanks for your words of encouragement. P.S. Here's a pic to give you an Idea.. That's my abdominal muscle implanted into my arm!

That would be awesome, my father did it from the gound up, just celebrated his 40th year in business. He is one of the greatest person I've ever known. I wish I could have been more like him.

So sorry to hear about your job loss! 2009 was a difficult year for me too as far as my job. However, I didn't have any health problems thank the lord, I'm double sorry to hear about your arm! How is your arm doing today?
I wish you the best my friend!

Quote: How is your arm doing today? The implant has decreased in size quite a bit, but is far from looking like a normal arm. I've sorta gotten used to the constant tingling from the nerve damage but I have developed a palsy in my pinky and ring fingers that make them want to curl up. I'm only 29 but my hand looks like an old mans!

Quote: I wish I could have been more like him. You are just like him, necessity and drive is/are the resources. determination comes from within, I owned and operated my own contractor business for more than 26 years , I opened the first in 1980 during the biggest recession we had experianced since the great depression, but I was faced with feeding, clothing and housing my brand new family, I was 21 years old when I started and 22 when I opened the doors on the business. If I can do it you can do it.

I grit my teeth every time I pass by the Federal Reserve Branch in downtown Denver! (I'm still getting BU 2008-D Nickels/Dimes in my change, so there's not much hope of seeing 2009-D's around here until the Fed runs out of 2008-D's.... )
