I took advantage having the day off work to scan some more of my collection into a digital file I can view without having to go into the bank safe deposit box. Thought I would share a few of my favorites.
1768/7 MoMF pillar dollar, one of the more difficult overdates to locate in higher grades
1826 NG M Central American Republic 8 Reales. This has always been one of my favorite coin designs on the obverse with the sun peaking over the mountains.
1824 Cuzco Mint 8 reales, this is a one year only type coin and this is the rarer of the 2 assayers (but not as rare as the "over assayer G/T"

jfransch- WOW! Thanks for sharing. Those are absolutely beautiful.

I must admit that I had never even seen an example of the 1824 Cuzco before. Just amazing.

The design on the Central American Republice coin is also one of my favorites.
Thanks for posting them.

DV Collector, yes that is a 68/7 with a really nice bold overdate. I hunted a long time to find that coin, hard to find in undamaged higher grades. The pillar dollar series is full of overdates, I check every coin I see offered for sale at a show for overdates and other "interesting" strike feaures.

Sorry for my lack of knowledge here, but what is an 8 Reales coin? Where are they from?
