I have a dollar bill that I found at work, all of which is normal except the stamp that is on the left front side is also on the right front side along with the green stamp. Is this a misprint? If so how much is it worth? Please someone help me with this. The black stamp also says Dallas Texas. will have picture soon

Welcome, vbartlett.

Sounds interesting, but I'll have to reserve judgement until I see a picture of what exactly you have.

Altered note for the purpose of passing off at a profit as an error.

. There have been a couple of similar notes posted here that were fakes. Those had the FRB seal on the left erased in some manner and then stamped on the right.

the right seal is fainter and smaller than the one on the left. so you can pretty much tell that its fake. but pretty cool to put into a collection for sentimental value! I would keep it.

Some one will correct me if I am wrong, but the seal with the K is not printed by itself, that is other elements of the dollar are printed at the same time. For the K to be out of place, other things would also be out of place. They aren't. Thus the note is altered outside of the printing and fake. Sorry vbartlett.
